The Bulldog Strike Sensor is a unique patented strike sensor for your rod holder, which offers you the versatility to catch more fish, and overcomes the issues with standard rod holder designs. The strike sensor allows you to set your dead stop/horn so it engages on the lightest to hardest hit.  You will know if you are tapping rocks, close to a snag, weeds or if a fish is hitting depending on the setting. In addition you will now be able to strike the fish in the rod holder with the Bulldog Strike Sensors patented rotating motion.

We use the strike sensor for many areas of presenting a bait such as lure trolling, planer board trolling, trolling spinners and general bait dragging.  We also use the heavy-duty built strike sensor for down rigger trolling and salt water fishing live bait or trolling at speeds of up to 3 to 4 mph.

The strike sensor also allows you and your new amateurs fishing to have more fun in the boat then just starring at the rod.  When fishing with my daughter and nephew they just listen for the horn and it gets their attention back to fishing.  They love listening for the horn and you don't have to keep an eye on their rod for them.  That goes for those adult types or ammeters as well who aren't watching their rod.  Now you have to opportunity to check maps,tie lines or select new lures without missing a strike.
