Location: Central WI.		Start here. Would like to get down there to fish bluegills late ice this year with my dad. Any tips on timing location etc. would be great. Some of his friends have been going for the past few years and I'd love to get in on that some year(just never enough time to do it all....).

Right now. Gills are always top game here in the winter. Pounders at times are the norm sometimes 1 pushing 2. This is sight fishing at its best, gin clear water, shallow bite just plain fun. I'm not a big fan of Gills but will catch them to past the time if theres nothing else going on. Let me know if you want to come over be glad to show you around.

any luck shaley we hit into the perch and gills good but couldt find any walleyes anywhere over new year
