Got out Sun. and hit the little glacial lake that was supposed to happen Fri. After a nice 1/2mi. hike through the woods and 1 1/2hrs. of no fish I packed back up and hiked back out to implement "Plan B" which was a small near-by flowage. A short drive and not so short 400yd. walk out, got my quadrature done and drilled 3 holes, sat up in 7' for gills and placed 2 tip downs in 8' and 9' half way down with Rosie Reds for crappies. The crappies didn't pan out but the gill bite was non stop going through a tin and half of waxies in 3hrs. Had a ton of 6 3/4" to 7" gills to weed through (I don't keep gills under 7") to get this fish fry and sore legs the next day.............Rooster

Looks like a great day on the ice and a well earned tasty meal.
